Too little too late Mr Gardner. The damage that the GOP has done to this country with immigration, changes in tax laws, the environment and, more recently, the shutdown, were all with your help either by action or inaction. How about diverting funds from wall to schools instead?

I remember calling your office asking you to reject DeVos in order to demonstrate that you cared about education, and you voted to confirm her anyway. It wasn’t partisan for many of us, but that vote installing a subpar Cabinet official demonstrated your blind partisan loyalty.

While I appreciate the idea behind this bill, it reads like you’re just adding another administrator outside of the classroom telling teachers what to do. If you want to support teachers, give them more resources to teach, say thanks, & trust them enough to leave them alone.

The reason there is such massive teacher attrition is because: 1. We aren’t paid what we are worth 2. We have more work than time to complete it. 3. We are constantly lacking in resources. 4. Our entire society thinks they know how to do our job because they went to school once.
