Our agriculture community has been struggling for the past few years, impacting my own community and rural communities across CO and the country. The Farm Bill provides long-term certainty to farmers and ranchers throughout CO, including provisions that’ll specifically help them.
My provisions provide farmers & ranchers relief from drought using technology to better implement dry-land farming practices, provides resources to combat deadly diseases wiping out hop fields, & makes industrial hemp legal so CO farmers can use their land how they see fit.
From one fifth generation to another fifth generation Coloradan you should be representing all of Colorado and understand the grave effects that climate change has on our precious resources. And yet there you are turning your back on our future.
You also consistently vote against measures that protect the environment. Today, you voted to confirm a judge to a lifetime appt despite the fact that he is rated "unqualified" by the ABA. And I'm still waiting for your comment on why you continue to support the felon in the WH.
