You could have proposed reducing the cost of tuition, eliminating student debt, or cracking down on predatory for-profit colleges. Instead you voted for tax cuts for the rich and to approve @BetsyDeVosED. This bill won’t even begin to make up for your poor decisions.
Student loan debt makes it harder for graduates to get ahead. Uh, lots of people in college aren't employed BECAUSE THEY'RE IN COLLEGE. And if they are, it's part time and not to a freaking company that offers them 401k benefits. FFS, seriously?!

Yeah the problem is people will be paying into their loans and not their retirement. This could be fixed if govt just goes back to funding public universities

Why don't you just stop cutting taxes for rich people and just fund education in the first place? This seems like a roundabout way to not address the actual problem while accomplishing very little in the process.

Again, another proposal that isn't of much substance. The same way HSA accounts don't work is why this plan means nothing. Coloradoan's care about people. College should be free. Educating all American's is a Win for the Counrty.
