My colleagues and I just introduced a bipartisan sanctions package against Russia. It is one of the most hard-hitting pieces of legislation ever introduced against the Russian Federation. @LindseyGrahamSC @SenatorCardin @SenJohnMcCain @SenatorShaheen @SenatorMenendez

“Past administrations”?
@SenCoryGardner: Sent from the future to assure us there is life after Trump. (We wish we could be like@SenCoryGardner & pretend Trump isn’t POTUS, but someone has to stand up to *this* administration since our Senator clearly isn’t going to do so).https://twitter.com/SenCoryGardner/status/1025034258170163200 … -
Even when
@SenCoryGardner adopts a policy stance in opposition to Trump, his utter unwillingness to openly acknowledge the source of the problem displays a breathtaking degree of moral cowardice.#copoliticshttps://twitter.com/indivisibleden/status/1025068967218606080 …

These are valid and necessary measures. I do find it unfortunate that you aren't willing to explicitly call out the current administration for it's continued capitulation to Moscow.

It is fundamentally impossible to firmly adhere to the tough talk you've just tweeted about Russia (all appropriately), and still support
@realDonaldTrump and his love for Putin. He hasn't even enacted the last sanctions you passed! Where is your outrage? -
You decry "past administrations" in you tweet while remaining silent about the current potus. Until u stand firm against him, your implicit support of Trump facilitates Russia.

"Past administrations"? Dude, no one is going to believe you're actually taking our CURRENT national crisis seriously when you pollute your "bipartisan" self promotion with this transparently partisan nonsense.

the last time Congress passed a sanctions bill against Russia, the president neglected to enforce it. What will you do when the president does the same with this bill?

Thank you for asking

As your constituent, and patriotic American, I’m hopeful with your bipartisan bill. However, it’s prudent that you and your GOP colleagues NOT vote for Kavanaugh under these circumstances. It’s apparent there’s a lot of corruption going on in this admin. Be our patriotic voice!

Please print this out and show it to the president. He for some reason wants to go well above and beyond normalizing relations with Russia. He says it all the time. And maybe discourage the 1on1 meetings with no personnel or note takers, advisers, etc. It's kinda fishy...

Oh, and same for your fellow GOO senators that also visited Moscow with no press or observers (on the fourth of July!!?). What was that all about?
