Our veterans deserve a healthcare system that will make certain that they are getting the best care possible, but that won’t be possible unless the VA continues to reform the way it does business.
Patients must have access to timely care, even if that means seeing a doctor outside of a VA medical facility. This past weekend, I was honored to attend the ribbon cutting for the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Aurora.
The failures in the construction of this facility are well-documented and represent a dark chapter in the VA’s history - I have made it clear to Mr. Wilkie that the VA’s past errors are to never be repeated.
I look forward to continuing to work with the VA and Mr. Wilkie to make sure that the federal government is doing everything it can to treat those who have served our country with honor.
Your puppet president’s military parade is going to cost taxpayers $12 million. $12 million could get 10,000 homeless veterans each an apartment in Aurora at $1000 per month...for a year to help get them on their feet. But your platitudes make for a great tweet.
How about you oppose to spend $12 million dollars for Trump and pal Putin parade and invest the money to actually veterans in need?. If you can't or won't do that, then please resign.

You know nothing about the needs of veterans. Lack of congressional oversight caused this mess. You send troops to war on a supplemental but can’t seem to find the money to take care of them when they come home. Veterans deserve better than you #Hypocrites
Our veterans deserve a president @realDonaldTrump who doesn’t lie about their wages, cuts their benefits. One who’s not going to put them in harms way because he got his feelings hurt. The American people demand you hold our feckless leader accountable. Stand up to this tyrant.
