Our bill does not legalize marijuana. Instead, it allows the principle of federalism to prevail as the founding fathers intended and leaves the marijuana question up to the states. So then why can’t you just sponsor a bill that ends federal prohibition? Federal prohibition is the problem. Ending that program doesn’t “legalize” marijuana either. It lets the state enact their own programs.
As a Democrat it does my heart good to see a reasonable Republican who has nuanced ideas and is able to work across the aisle. It's good for the country to know bipartisanship is possible. Thank you!

What we need is for Marijuana to get off the schedule 1 list so it can be properly studied. I. Fact it is much safer (and much less damaging to the body overall) to have your after work vape of Marijuana to relax then drinking alcohol.
You aren’t fooling anyone with this bill. It’s a joke. The federal laws are the problem and why proper research can’t be done. This is a weak attempt.
