I agree with my colleagues who have stepped forward today and called on Senator Franken to resign. We can’t just believe women when it’s convenient.

It's not just about believing women when it's convenient. It's about being to distinguish between situations. The worst that Franken has been accused of is harassment that does not rise to the level of requiring him to leave office.

@alfranken to resign, its suicide for the Dems. I’m female and DO NOT condone sexual harassment, but come on, let’s deal with the bigger problem at hand - losing our Democracy. We need Franken! -
It's not about belieiving or not believing women who come forward. Sen. Franken has asked for an ethics investigation and he should have it. And all the Dems calling for him to step down should be calling even louder for Trump to step down immediately.

He has agreed to participate in an ethics investigation. Use the proper order! We can't be the ONLY side that takes the high road, when they are tunneling underneath. It has nothing to do with convenience, and everything to do with the source and the subject of the complaints.

I don't think it is about "disbelieving the women." Franken asked for an investigation and he deserves the opportunity to plead his case. That would be fair. Plus you guys don't have the numbers (only 48 D's) to oust Moore. That's what you need to focus on.
