You better hurry up on the #renewableenergy thing, cause we may already be 30 years too late. We have a whole lot of heating left to go! And, bring the renewable industry home, cause abrupt #climate change is sure to cut off supplies of materials. Ports will be hit big time.
Senator Cornyn sure has been busy working across the aisle these last several months. Where was he from 2017-2020? Not a peep when the country needed a reasonable Republican. Says a lot about you, Senator Cornyn.
A bill to create a committee to study what should be done sometime in the future. What is critical is we take action now to enable our petroleum & natural gas industries to invest so that we regain energy independence and replace Russian production. 1/
2/ We also need to enable the development of pipelines to move those products and mines that can produce minerals critical to defense and industry without reliance on the Chinese or Russians. Get the environmentalist out of the way.
3/3 Committees are too often excuses to do nothing now with hopes everyone forgets about later. And given your history that’s likely your motivation Senator Casey.
