The public understands how vital it is to have a free and open internet. They do not want to have websites blocked or internet access slowed. And they certainly don’t want internet providers making these decisions.

Unfortunately this is not what so-called net neutrality does. Think of the areas where government involvement is big. Health care, drugs, education, housing. Big govt involvement = big costs worse for the consumer. Btw, the internet was free and open b4 nn

With all due respect Senator Nelson, we do not want the government making the decision what we can view, what sites we can visit, or what we can say.

Net neutrality rules do not do any of that. It simply mandates that those decisions can't be in the hands of internet service providers.

Sadly, I don’t think some of the public understands the impact of the repeal of net neutrality. Much misinformation is promulgated by the administration and the Internet-provider lobbyists. #NetNeutrality means internet providers can’t control what we can see via the Internet.

Senator, thank you for standing up for the rights of individuals and small businesses. The people criticizing you are a vocal minority and an ignorant one at that. You have my support in November and I will tell everyone I know that you are working for them.
