Florida leads the nation in deaths and injuries caused by exploding Takata airbags, according to new numbers I received from the automakers. I am calling on NHTSA to step up its efforts to get these defective airbags replaced and out of people’s cars as quickly as possible.pic.twitter.com/oIq8ilEjWq

Consumers should heed the recall warnings and get their vehicle repaired as soon as possible. Failure to do so could result in death or life altering injuries. Find out if you need to get your airbag replaced by clicking here: http://SaferCar.gov

Lincoln/Ford claim there are NO replacements for the defective airbags. waited two years. I had to buy another car. took a loss on the car with defective airbags. outrageous that car manufacturers received $ in settlement, & we car owners get nothing but a dangerous ride.

That’s all well and good for most but VW is not included on that list.

We are heeding the recalls but @MBUSA says no loaners not necessary so does @Ford I’m sure other car manufacturers too the pressure needs put on #automakers not just citizens. This is one where federal government is needed!

#Ford told me no replacement until Sept. 2018. My car sitting in garage for over 1 year. @Ford told me they won't buy my car back until airbag is fixed. Ford needs to buy all these cars back right now.

There have to be airbags not made by Takata that are safer. Why are people still using these airbags when building vehicles?
