Why did it take the Trump administration so long to impose any sanctions at all on Russia? Eight months ago, Congress passed legislation to impose sanctions by an overwhelming vote. This should have been done months ago and we still have work to do to hold Putin accountable.pic.twitter.com/eaa3JY25EV

Because sanctions are used by the executive department. Not you legislative cronies. They are tools to impose leverage on foreign powers. He had the tools in his pocket and used them when he deemed necessary. Today is that day. But you already knew that...loser

Teaming up with other European nations to lay the hammer down was a great way to do it too. Excellent job Mr. President #MAGA.

Bill Nelson is such a great man! Can't wait to vote for him again. Rick Scott is a slimy crook and got rich off of changing laws in FL to funnel cash into his pockets.

Isn't it funny how Obama macked Romney when he said that Russia was a major player in the world. Now it is an issue? Only a problem when it benefits your party.

Again, Senator, you lead from behind. Your own wily Prz BHO consulted and cavorted with the Ruskies and apparently couldn't see then what you're blaming Trump with now. You COULD HAVE ACTED then, but you're as BLIND is the artful one, BHO.

I realize this can be hard for you Senator, the President is a different branch of gvmnt he does not serve at the pleasure of Congress! If he wants to work with the Senate he will but why is 1/2 of his appointments still not approved? See, it works both ways, now time 4 ur nap.
