We got several important things included in this budget deal including $2.3 billion to help FL’s ag & citrus growers, $2.7 billion to help our schools, $2 billion to rebuild Puerto Rico’s power grid and $15 billion for Army Corps to use for things such as the Lake O dike.

Senate leaders have agreed to close Medicare's "donut hole" by 2019 as part of the budget deal. Closing this coverage gap will save seniors thousands of dollars every year on their Rx drugs. It also saves taxpayers about $9 billion over ten years. That's a win-win for everyone.

We got $6 billion included in this budget deal to help combat the opioid crisis. 5,200 people died in Florida in 2016 because of opioids, a 35% increase from the year before. This funding couldn't come at more urgent time.

But we are getting the debt! #Congress needs to stop it. Cut defense spending and raise taxes. In a growing economy the federal budget has to be BALANCED at the very least. #DoBetter

@SenBillNelson , all of this spending is certainly for noble things. But where does the $ come from when this year's deficit is already $1 trillion? When do our accounts come due?

In Puerto Rico, Rosselló estimates it will cost $46 billion to rebuild damaged and destroyed homes, $30 billion to repair critical infrastructure, and $17.9 billion for long-term recovery. #PuertoRico #gop ( Rossello experienced PR go from 1st world to 3rd overnight) help.

Are you seriously touting this as a good thing? What we need is to balance the budget and to start paying down the debt not spending more. You Dems always want to help people and protect things at enormous costs not even realizing you are just trading one problem for another.

What is the average age of these so-called "children"? If I break the law get caught and go to jail are my children punished?yes ! What's the difference except that I am a citizen and they are not. Are you saying that citizens should be treated more harshly that illegals?

80% of DACA recipients were under the age of 10 when their parents made the decision to bring them to the US. Because they are undocumented, they have no path to citizenship. That's the whole purpose of DACA.pic.twitter.com/DqVwEMUc02

When referencing you should cite the source.because they are undocumented, it's impossible to prove your claim. So sorry, I don't belive it, no rational person would. Where is a " path to citizenship " guaranteed in the Constitution?
