If the administration plans to abruptly pull us out of the International Space Station in 2025, they're going to have a fight on their hands. This would likely decimate FL’s commercial space industry and hinder our ability to experiment in low-Earth orbit.https://www.theverge.com/2018/1/24/16930154/nasa-international-space-station-president-trump-budget-request-2025 …

We seem to forget under whose administration did we gut the space program. And now it's an issue?

Have you actually bothered to think things through before issuing this? The policy will be to transition of a commercial space station that will benefit Florida and the United States even more. Or do you just hate @realDonaldTrump so bloody much?

Thank you @SenBillNelson for standing up for #Florida and the future. This Administration shutting down #Science, #innovation & International cooperation is beyond foolish. We need @NASA & @Space_Station!

It's no secret that the trump administration is doing everything it can to stifle science. And one of the few areas where we still have a decided advantage is space, so it's only logical that he would attack the ISS.

Why would trump pull U.S. out of ISS when each trip puts, now, $81M in Russian coffers? Srsly, I thought part of our post-Shuttle privatisation was to provide our own lift platform to ISS. (We never should've stopped flying shuttle without a proven successor.)

Commercial providers were supposed to replace shuttle and be ready in 2006, but then Congress decided to significantly under fund the program for years. Meanwhile congress has forced NASA to spend 2B/yr on the SLS rocket which will cost 1B per launch and 3B/yr on supporting ISS.

"Abruptly" and "in 2025" don't go together. With all due respect, Senator, you are either not very smart, or just a political hack resisting everything Trump. Either way, you are on your last year in the Senate. #byefelicia #MAGA
