The pandering gets old. Federal government sent BILLIONS to PR. Wish you had the same love for Floridians. Pandering POS doing everything to turn FL blue.

It's the local governments responsibility Billy, that's why the people of Puerto Rico need to hold their crooked politician's accountable.pic.twitter.com/bu5KUDX1DV

It a lie, a vet trying to get help thru SSA, and been put off by SSA for 3 years. And for the last year, a doctor of SSA said I am disabled, and still not get help. You came to town because 25,000 potential voters in Orlando area.

Thank you! Please help them get power asap! Your response to Puerto Rico will not be forgotten. Over 240,000 puertoricans have moved to FL since hurricane Maria, the situation is still unbearable in PR.

Senator, why are the Virgin Islands forgotten? They were devastated also. They too deserve the same attention as Puerto Rico. I hope you will bring it to light. Happy New Year!

It’s infuriating to me that Puerto Rico hasn’t received more assistance. They are part of the United States.

We should become the 51st State, don’t you think?

Trump and the congress has dropped the ball when it comes to P. R. It’s shameful, it’s inhumane to allow those conditions to exist this long.
-
No sir...respectfully you are dead wrong. PR was the one who dropped the ball through 40+ years of misspending, mismanagement, improper maintenance and corruption. Maria only brought that into daylight.
-
You may be right, but no one can turn the calendar back. Americans have always, and I hope will continue, to come to the aid of those that r in need. We rightly do this all over the world. So, regardless of the cause, in my opinion, it’s wrong to turn our backs to those in need.
-
You are absolutely right!!! I am just trying to bring a point to the discussion so we do not commit the same mistakes that have cost us dearly.

@SenateGOP and@HouseGOP need to get American priorities straight. Lining your pockets before taking care of your fellow citizens is not Christian or American or Islamic or Jewish or human. Do the right thing.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Everyone wants to complain about slow progress but I don’t hear anyone offering valid & actionable options on how to do it better.

They fired the company doing the repairs. If I was a electrical contractor I'd think twice before working in PR.

It is indeed mismanagement. . .but not from this administration. It is 40 + years of mismanagement and corruption including UTIER (union) who brought AEE to its knees in terms of technology and resources.

It is 82 degrees in Puerto Rico. It is not like the lack of electricity is life threatening. The military did not leave till the roads were cleared. What exactly is the delay? Maybe firing the guys doing the repairs?
