The Maria Hurricane survivors have been grossly neglected. But our jackass president is having a great time golfing.

The power to Mar-a-Lago should be off until 100% of the power is restored to all PR and USVI residents and businesses.

Since the electric company was 8 billion and PR 82 billion in debt before the hurricane both was caused by corruption of gov why is the USA taxpayer's paying for it. Sell the electric company to a private power company, they rebuild the system and charge the users

Puerto Rico was a disaster years prior to Hurricane Maria because of historically bad decisions by its' leaders. The US needs to help recovery obviously. But rebuilding the entire country should be responsibility of Puerto Rican citizens, not exacerbating the US federal deficit.

Although it has been noted parts of the Houston, Texas drainage system design was responsible for some flooding, more recent communities have much better drainage. Florida has implemented a myriad of storm abatement codes since the early 90's. No comparison with Puerto Rico.

Houston has overbuilt in regions susceptible to flooding for decades. Same for Florida. Just because their tax base and status as states has softened the $$$ losses, there is STILL NO comparison to the level of Federal support given to those states and the meager response to PR.

States have allow building in areas prone to flooding__that should have been stopped long ago. US is headed for trillion$ deficit, making a fiscal disaster more likely. Severe pain & steep cuts will be needed when deficits & debts are out of control.

This is very dangerous for the health of the patients. Water intrusion causes fungus within 24-48 hrs, this been going on for months. CIRS-WDB is the disease caused by exposure to fungal contamination http://Survivingmold.com

Perhaps you should hold a New Years Eve party. Charge $600/person and maybe raise enough money for a new roof. Oh wait! Someone else is already do that.
