Mr.Nelson... We also need to make sure that ALL of the school faculty are properly trained. Mandate classes (Children suffering from trauma/crisis/PTSD/loss & grief.) Train to not unintentionally re-traumatize them, especially with carelessness, due to their own stress issues. TY

Why are the taxpayers funding the schools aren't they receiving enough money from these new enrollments through tuitions from these students from Puerto Rico?
-
U r talking about college, what if u got in on scholarship. He’s talking about Florida head start for 4-5 yrs elementary middle and high schools. Those are all paid by tax dollars. PR schools are wiped out and have no electric water or food so they are in Florida to get those

And that should be covered by the taxes that are paid my homeowners and the owners of the rental properties those people moved into

Counties in S. FL. have had ample experience absorbing children as a result of disasters. Cuba, Haiti, PR, DR, Nicaragua, Honduras-tip of the iceberg. Thank you, Senator, for continuing to fight for resources for schools that open their doors to these children and their families

Colleges amass huge profits and should be able to help without more taxpayers dollars! Displaced students from where? Foreign country without family to help! Oh well maybe they will have to fore go college for awhile, save their own money for their own benefit!
