Today thousands of Colorado teachers are demonstrating at the state Capitol for better wages and greater support for public education. We should listen to them. Op-ed in the @denverpost:https://www.denverpost.com/2018/04/26/listening-to-our-teachers/ …

Thank you for supporting us. Schools in Colorado deserve to be funded at adequate levels. Colorado shouldn’t be 47th in anything, let alone school funding.

Why are they starting their demands with demonstrations and shutting down schools? Would have been better to be vocal and in the news without the shutdown. Parents are mad. Poor role model for our youth. Wages are not that far off if you consider all benefits

Good idea. Protests should not inconvenience anyone. Wouldn’t want them to be effective or anything.

I'm curious if you would have been advocating for the same thing when you were superintendent at DPS and were responsible for overall district funding vs. now when you plunder, pillage and steal from taxpayers daily?

If you think we should have listened to them then why wait until a walk out protest! Why aren't you listening long before it came to a head! Sounds like you endorse the behavior!
