.@Coloradoan: @EPAScottPruitt decision to roll back fuel efficiency standards could cost the avg Colorado household up to $2,700 in gas savings by 2030. This is a step in the wrong direction for our state’s economy, health & fight against #climatechange.https://www.coloradoan.com/story/news/2018/04/04/epa-fuel-standards-rollback-means-coloradans-pay-more-gas-critics-say/486781002/ …

Everything about this administration is bad for America. Please keep fighting for us. I especially hate the idea of drilling by the Sand Dunes. Reducing car efficiency standards is going backwards.

What a pathetically dishonest way to put it. $2700 is nothing compared to the increased cost of vehicles and the increased cost of ridiculous gov't over-regulation. Nothing has ever stopped people from driving less or more efficiently if they are trying to save gas money.

The real cost is the cost on our health. EPA regulations are necessary.

Rational regulations are one thing. Over-regulation is simply gov't intrusion into everyday lives in an effort to promote political agendas and wield Power. Saying this will cost families $2700 is political propaganda in it's purest form.

This is not over-regulation. Vehicle emssions are attributed to tens of thousands of US deaths every year. This is a no-brainer.

The fuel efficiency standards in place make no sense. 52 mpg is not possible by 2025 unless you go to electric vehicles. The down side would be there is probably not enough electrical capacity to meet the demand and vehicle cost would skyrocket. Not common sense standards.

Consumer demand will drive further efficiencies in the future. Manufacturers will meet that demand. No need for government regulation!
