Like a snow day, kids will take any opportunity to walk out of class. The administrators are responsible for this. If the administrations would stick to teaching instead of indoctrination we would be in a better place.

I would argue not allowing students out for 17 minutes to voice their opinion would be a form of indoctrination
-
Sure. Whatever you say. My kid refused to go along with the walkout. It has been nothing but propaganda for a whole month. That’s indoctrination. Coordinated, televised, brainwashing. You can call it what you like. Some people are awake while others are asleep.
-
Or maybe they are tired of getting shot at in schools.
-
Nonsense. If the media wouldn’t be pushing their propaganda 24/7 and they would have protection of police or others on campus the children would have a sense of security as opposed to fear. The Las Vegas shooting was out of the media in 1 week. The bomb kid was not even covered.
-
It’s propaganda pushing unwarranted gun grab. The NRA is not at fault. Cruz shot those kids, not the NRA. FBI screwed up, the County Sheriff screwed up, the school board screwed up. You don’t see it for what it really is, that’s not on me. Wake up. Please.
-
But you are pushing your agenda just the same. The NRA is at fault for flooding our country with weapons and using propaganda to get people to buy them and causing hysteria by gun owners afraid their guns will be taken. Reasonable gun measures are needed
-
I didn’t need the NRA to tell me a gun grab was on the way. All I had to do was watch a few minutes of TV here n there. I don’t do propaganda. I don’t have the means to push propaganda on our country. Politicians and the media have the means - and they are doing it.

Predictable liberal activism.......nice kids being misled/counseled by “community organizers”! How about parents/teachers advising kids to eliminate bullying, care for & respect others, etc rather than ignoring authorities? They can protest, peacefully, on their own time
-
Teachers and parents already do those things. Get with the times

Here are some High School Students marching in favor of the 2nd Amendment. Do you applaud them as well? Probably not:https://khow.iheart.com/content/2018-04-05-colorado-students-hold-pro-second-amendment-walk-out/?cmd=managed_social …

They should be in school learning about our second amendment rights and why we have them.

Wow; I would be ashamed of my kids for participating in this BS. I have two in HS. They certainly did not walk out of class today. They did however, answer questions from kids who tried to bully them into these shenanigans. I’m proud of my boys for staying in school!

What a hypocrite you are ! You had 8 years and did nothing. And I bet you're protected by armed guards and medal detectors, while not allowing the same protection for our children.

They should be in civics class learning about the constitution.
#SupportTheNRA -
They clearly know their Constitution. They’re exercising the First Amendment, after all.

One down, 26 to go...

Cute. If you put your wit to practical use, you might actually have value outside of trashing the intelligence of today's youth. Yet, here we are.
