Senator, as your constituent, I ask. What is it going to take for separation of church and state? Enough of this bible quoting.

Appeal to? Or just speak a language that will hopefully get through to them? We don’t need them to like us. The world needs them to find a reason THEY understand to choose kindness tho.

If you can't see this is wrong from the get go you were somehow born without a conscience. Not stealing the children of other human beings is a universally barbaric idea. If you have the faintest idea of what Jesus preached you don't need Bible verses.

Actually, the biggest issue isn't what Bible verse he cherry picked or misused. It's that the head of our judicial branch thinks it's appropriate to use a religious text as a part of countrywide policy decisions. We are not a Christian nation. #SeparationOfChurchAndState

You are aware of the separation of church and state? Or maybe the establishment clause? There is absolutely no reason for any religious arguments, Christian or otherwise, to be made regarding government policy. They are separate, and neither ought influence the other. At all.

@SenBennetCO : this is not a battle of Scripture, and our nation should not be governed by a book of inconsistent and loosely translated proverbs. You need to do your job, uphold your oath, follow the law, and act according to our legal and moral *requirements*.

Please stand with the American people. Use your voice to speak out against the cruel and inhumane treatment of children/families caught in the middle of Trump's barbaric border separation policy. Let our voice be your voice on this matter. America is Pro-Family!
