Every member of Congress must stand up and demand that the Trump administration end this policy immediately.

Change the f’in law bennet
-
It is not a law. It is a Trump/Sessions/Nielsen/Carson policy. They could change it today if they weren't morally corrupt.
-
......and Congress could pass a law to clearly spell out their desires...as opposed to the current law that allows executive branch discretion ......or Bennet can continue to simply “bitch & moan”....
-
I wonder which party has control of all three branches of government right now? Oh right the f-ing GOP! Guess who is kowtowing to Trump and his draconian policies? The GOP. There are far, far fewer GOP-ears speaking out than Dems. Corker is right about the GOP.

Get other Democrats from Congress, both houses, and go to the sites and demand they let you in! Take cameras and media with you! Do this until they let you into every single site!

Go write a bill. This is a legislative issue and tying to blame anyone but the parents of the children and the legislative branch for inaction is quite frankly a pathetic partisan move. But hey, what else would we expect? Right?
-
It is literally an executive branch policy to now charge asylum seekers criminally and separate them from their children. This is a decision Trump and Sessions made. Legislation can change that, but this current policy is *the choice of the president.*
-
It is literally impossible for the executive branch to create legislation. If you are going to blame an executive branch blame the one I charge when the legislation was passed! It wasn’t this administration! Enforcing legislation is what our judicial branch does. Maybe read a bk?
-
I said it’s a policy, not legislation. The executive branch has chosen to enforce the law in this way, particularly by prosecuting asylum seekers criminally instead of civilly like the Obama administration did. The executive branch is the one that executes legislation.

I'm afraid this actually is who some Americans are. Congress needs to stop allowing the executive branch to spend my tax dollars to imprison the children of asylum seekers. Taking them from parents is torture. cc:

Where has your outrage been for the last few years?? This was a policy set under Bush, and was there all 8 years of Obama. All the pictures floating around are from 2014. Explain your lack of outrage until now? Simply because you now want to put the blame on Trump?
