People if Colorado have the choice to not give their business to this particular bakery. By shopping at other Bakeries we show how we feel about bigotry. We are not required to buy from this establishment.

He may have won in the SCOTUS but he will loose in the court of public opinion. Anyone who abhors the blatant discrimination apparent in this man and his bakery should shop elsewhere. You know I would rather hack my leg off with a chain saw than give $1 of revenue to that bakery.
-
That is absolutely correct! He may have won this battle but I also have the right to NEVER shop there!

Today's ruling emboldens religious zealots who for some reason think they are the targets of discrimination, despite having a nation full of laws reflecting their absurd beliefs. Being anti-gay makes one an idiot, not a victim.

Let’s be clear mike......CO Commission was called out for NOT being balanced, per our Constitution, and frankly ignored religious rights in favor of their liberal, pro gay, personal positions! No more complicated than that! The commission is

People who think their religion allows them to discriminate against people for their sexual orientation can go straight to hell.

What’s to stop anyone from sudden adoption of “religious convictions” to discriminate against anyone for anything? And why is the only “sin” (that violates religious types’ moral convictions) that of homosexuality? Sounds like picking and choosing.

Even in this one specific instance, the baker in question also refused to make cakes containing alcohol, or themed for Halloween, on his same convictions. I'm not saying there isn't ever hypocrisy, but at least be informed.

So you believe a small business owner has to sacrifice his rights and beliefs? Being gay does not grant you special rights or privileges.
-
Somebody's make-believe should not create policy for our society.
-
What is make believe? The owner has his right to religion. Many business have right to refuse service postings. The couple should have accepted his rights and been understanding. But they felt differently. Oh btw 7-2 is not a narrow victory.
-
Leviticus says that gays should be killed. How closely should we allow religions to fully manifest themselves? Is not serving them cake some sort of compromise?
-
It’s about rights. You can’t say these rights are more important than those rights. Which is what the couple did. The state did not take his religious rights seriously which shows where the state lies.
