Legit: our talking points are at least well examined. Maybe not hard enough. Maybe we’re still wrong. But they make logical sense & have seen ideological combat w/ differing views. How exactly do you convince yourself you can’t be nominally assumed innocent except in court? Whathttps://twitter.com/selimseesyou/status/1047972737896079362 …

It’s so Talmudic & far fetched that anyone w/ two brain cells can put together it’s a fed line. They didn’t reason themselves into it. It’s something they were told by the TV to say & enough other ppl are saying it too so we’re supposed to pretend it makes any fucking sense.

I almost feel sorry for them. They’re just these empty agency-less vessels that are sent out into the world to say “it’s a job interview” at people. The NPC meme is frighteningly real. It’s a line so stupid that as dumb as they are, they wouldn’t have invented it themselves.

I’m not on that side so I’m not sure how I would handle “what about his presumption of innocence?” I’ll think about what my response would be, theoretically, from their side. I’d like I wouldn’t reach for “he doesn’t have it, it’s a job interview”. I’d hope I’d have more sense.
