“A big reason why I started to turn politically was because I like people who look like me.” - Nick the Knife Indeed. I play for team white male. Democracy in a multicultural society is just a racial headcount. The element of choice has been eliminated from my politics.

Doesn’t mean I don’t have input or my own ideas about taxes or the economy or whatever. I do & can try to promote them where & when I can. But when it’s time to vote, when it’s political party choice, when I have to caucus, I have to join the white male team. What else can I do?

The only other options are to vote against myself (vote for other peoples’ interests & cuck myself) or go play radical individualist autist (which is essentially giving an extra vote to the people that don’t have my interest in mind). This is where we are now. Base tribalism.

Apologies if that last tweet sounded like I lament the circumstances. In a way I do. But I didn’t get to set the circumstances. Other people decided that decades ago. And given what they are, I don’t lament tribalism. It isn’t a regrettable choice. I choose it eagerly in fact.

How eagerly would any normal person choose their own survival or their family’s over alternative options? Well there you go. Not a hard choice. Not a head scratcher. The head scratcher is the people who vote to abolish themselves. But that’s a subject for another time.
