Something to remember: people want to side with those who win. Trump was elected, goes on with the presidency, the sex charges against him are moot. Not for Moore bc he lost. If Kavanaugh wins this, gets to work, the charges are false in most people's eyes. But true if he loses.

The winners get new headlines, doing new things. Rapist Bill Clinton, Trump, Clarence Thomas, Ted Kennedy. People forget the old story, which failed. Side with the winner. GOP won't be hurt with female voters. If Kav is approved. They'll be hurt for nominating him - if he loses.

Right. It does not bother people that someone made a dumb joke in a private conversation.
