Has anyone read Mein Kampf? How was it should? Should it be read in the original German?

Not fluently. I read it tho. Well enough to read a newspaper.

French as well. I can read a newspaper & speak it enough to make small talk. Not fluent tho.

No. I mean, I can count to 10 in Russian. I can do “hello. How are you? Good thanks.” Know maybe a dozen or two nouns. Can’t read Russian tho. Not even enough for a newspaper. I know the alphabet. So I know what the words sound like but not necessarily what they mean.

I got the audiobook in English from TPB. Reading was overly dramatic, but it was very interesting, shed a lot of light on what Hitler found dysfunctional about the multi-ethnic Hapsburg Austro-Hungary of his youth.

That’s more what I’ve wanted out of it. From what I understand, it’s a popular misconception he just rambles on about you know who for hundreds of pages. I’m more interested in his outlook on A-H & on WW1.

Must read. I got Manheim translation which also has a few helpful footnotes at bottom to understand certain phrases/historical figures.

Have only read it in English but it’s good and worth the read. Halfway through atm. Exploring his thoughts/life has been interesting considering the parallels to our society. Plus the fact that him and I have shared similar political and personal developments has been amusing.
