Thought that occurred to me (not to be taking too seriously, spit balling): could it be a paradox that because Trump has gotten the economy back on track that now voters are too comfortable again. They can go back to “I’m doing ok, and GOP aren’t ‘nice’, so I won’t vote for them”

When you’re comfortable, it’s easy to weigh political differences on “I don’t like Trump’s tone (forgetting that you 2 years ago you didn’t even have a job) & thus vote for the ppl who will put you right back where you were before (or worse the way things are heading). Fickle.

Wasn’t meant to be anything profound but it would be a kind of paradox. Returning the economy to normalcy (3-4% growth) returns the political discussion to “normalcy” (pre-2007 crash) which was mundane & shallow & very, very ghey. And will bring further disaster of course.
