@DCPSChancellor has incompetently fired#reinstaterich for the horrible reopening plan, had a disastrous public hearing w/ the DC council and now teachers are standing up for all children with this sick out. Someone who TRIED to create this much chaos would likely fail. -
Students should go back in person but after 7 months no one has any answers. Seats have been offered but people still don't know who their teachers will be and all students' classes are changing even if they continue with distance learning.

DCPS will not collaborate with teachers/families & hopes they can just push through, but this plan is terrible for students. Teachers are finally finding the strength to say "enough is enough" on their behalf.

Teachers are fighting for our kids. We want a reopening plan that is best possible for every kid. We want DC officials to respect us enough to include us in planning. We DO have ideas and we DO want to meet student needs better. Parents, we know it’s hard, keep fighting with us!
