    Finally got a few mins to finish off some projects. First up ‘the dancing car’ - a stand-alone car cluster which ‘dances’ along with music.

    PSA. Today I did an hour long presentation of car/lock/phone/WiFi hacking, things I know really well. That one hour presentation took me a week to write and I was exhausted afterwards. You can’t just ‘knock up a quick presentation’, it takes time.

    My PAU06 Panda adaptor was brought to life with Apt-get install firmware-misc-nonfree in the latest I haven’t tested injection or anything else with these yet though.

    2 days of headscratching of why the new didn’t work with any of my wireless cards, I’ve finally got my TPlink WN722N working. Sudo apt-get install firmware-atheros Now to fix all the others.

    I’ve had these sodding things for months now and haven’t managed to open a single lock with them, including two practice locks and an ‘easy’ one. I tried to modify the tools today as I had a suspicion they weren’t working correctly but still no dice.

    Every time I’m asked about starting out in locksport I reply the same. Picks aren’t anywhere near as important as tension tools. I pick almost almost all my locks with just two picks but I need five tension wrenches.

    Twitter, what are you using now to see the Bluetooth communication from IOS devices? The Bluetooth profile didn’t work for me for logging and all the MITM tools seem a few years old.
