We are asking Congress for the authority to streamline these projects on Federal land and expand other authorities to improve access roads for firefighters and protect towns located in or near forests.

In other words, clearcut logging roads to save the forest and provide profits for outside contracts with companies? How about more helicopter logging, or small-scale consistent logging with smaller vehicles?
