As an LVN & RN, I appreciate the ‘licensing’ aspect. I worked hard to obtain my certification & degree. I ALSO obtained knowledge to care for people & to do ‘no harm’. I agree that it would be nice to work ‘faster’ in another state. Caution though for fraud.

Are you serious? And you represent the American people? I'm sorry but I don't see you fit for your position. A license tells the preserverance of gaining that field.

Sometimes fraud slips through the fingers of ‘the original licensing state’. So, just out of curiosity, I was wondering how that issue would be dealt with, in regards to another state.

Allowing them to work on a temporary license could be problematic. How will the next state make sure that everything is cleared? Will they have resources to investigate properly and check with previous states board of licensing?

There is so much fraud in all areas of work. Nursing, sees many people portraying themselves as nurses & causing harm to others, as they have no proper skills & knowledge. What if a ‘nurse’ leaves one state (due to fraud/or nursing board issues?
