Read my statement on the May 2018 Employment Situation report at https://www.dol.gov/newsroom/releases/osec/osec20180601 …
How many of these jobs are part-time minimum-wage no-benefit seasonal jobs? Are there any categories, or is it just a general number? Are you assuming people who ran out of unemployment are employed? Is there a table somewhere we can access or do we have to take your word for it?
And what will the numbers be when the tariffs are in full swing?

Much higher most likely, seeing as Perot was right about "that giant sucking sound" due to NAFTA Largest expansion in US was during late 1800s early 1900s tarriffs
Amazing what the longest streak of job creation on record, which started in Oct 2010, has done to create a steady fall in unemployment (graph shows 10 years to last month).pic.twitter.com/1nu5NYJZ1e
Yeah, sort of, seeing as the majority of jobs created during Obama were government jobs. Expansion of the govt is not job creation. All skill levels except " service industry" decreased during O. Lies, damned lies and statistics
U.S. job growth since 2010 has been in the private sector (left graph). It's the longest streak of private sector job creation on record. Total govt employment was little changed & actually fell a bit over these years (right graph). Where do you get your misinformation?pic.twitter.com/BwxkoJ1jhC
As with all data coming out from the Fed's, the truth is in the details. I could find the data but alas I must work Wash times dispels many assertions of great gains by Obama. Chief among them is so many had lost jobs the rebound was inevitable even during abysmal 2% gdp
So you agree that the long, steady improvement of the labor market since Great Recession that has created low unemployment now is due to the business cycle. Great.
I'm saying the new normal of Obama, under 2 % and languishing wages, could have been much greater. It wasn't business cycle. It was horrendous policy that kept people in 2 to 3 part time jobs rather than having well paying jobs created. Get the f out of here with your spin
Real wage growth was way higher in 2015 & 2016 than 2017 or 2018. You are getting fed bad info & now spreading it too. Reconsider your sources. https://www.bls.gov/opub/ted/2018/mobile/real-average-hourly-earnings-up-0-point-2-percent-for-all-private-employees-april-2017-to-april-2018.htm …
Most of what I've been able to read indicates a small blip for about 1.5 years in the time period u speak of, but, in general this low real wage growth is half of what it has been following past recessions "Way higher" I don't think so But feel free to "educate" me I need it
Too many service jobs @ low wages in today’s stats
Why is the President releasing the numbers early? Isn't that against Department policy?
