    Making sure everyone has access to a vaccine is how we’re going to heal our country. I saw hope in action at the vaccination site in Yakima, Washington. Federal, state, and local governments are working together with community partners to vaccinate over 1,000 people a day.

    I'm deeply honored to have met with the Yakama Nation Tribal Council.  This pandemic has disproportionately impacted Native American communities. The Biden-Harris Administration is fully committed to working with Tribal Nations and strengthening partnerships with Indian Country.

    As I’ve traveled from state to state, the need to increase access to affordable high speed internet is something I’ve heard over and over again. Broadband access means access to information, education, telehealth services, and more. Every American deserves to be connected.

    In an inexplicable act of violence, a brave US Capitol Police Officer, William Evans, was killed in the line of duty while another officer fights for his life. Officer Evans made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the Capitol. Our hearts go out to his family and loved ones.
