The United States calls on Azerbaijan and Armenia to implement their commitments to a ceasefire as agreed and cease targeting civilian areas, such as Ganja and Stepanakert. We deplore the loss of human life and remain committed to a peaceful settlement.

Sir, this is a blanket statement that is doing nothing to address the situation. I understand it’s complicated for the US but at what cost are our alliances worth? The loss of innocent life is dependent on your administration to denounce Turkey/Azerbaijan. You know their history.

Karabakh is internationally recognized territory of Azerbaijan. Armenia needs to withdraw its troops from the occupied territories, as per resolutions of UN Security Council and General Assembly, this is the only way to peace in the region!

Equating a stray rocket in Ganja to non-stop shelling of Stepanakert with cluster bombs isn't helpful either. Why not sending intl independent observers to check the facts on the ground?

These statements are so weak and misleading! Ganja airport in Azerbaijan harbored F16 and Military Suicide Drones while Stepanakert harbors Churches. Turkey brings in Jihadist Terrorism to Caucasus to be used by Azerbaijan! Weak Weak Weak

Secretary, would appreciate your opinion on employment of jihadist mercenaries by Azerbaijan via Turkey.

About 70,000 #Armenians in #NagarnoKarabakh have fled because of the poorly aimed #Azerbaijani-#Tukish rockets and drones, which have hit civilian neighbourhoods more often than infrastructure and military bases
