  10. The Paso del Norte Port of Entry and facilities of in the El Paso Sector have far exceeded their capacity—like nearly every other key location along the Southwest Border. MUST receive additional authorities and resources from Congress to end this emergency.

  11. Our emergency response requires more than just “whole of government” action—we need a “whole of society” approach to fixing this catastrophe. is surging all available resources to the border and treating the emergency situation like we would a major natural disaster.

  12. In Yuma, I saw firsthand how dire the humanitarian and security crisis is at our border. The overcrowded border patrol station is our third-busiest and presents a snapshot of how overwhelmed the system is. Congress can’t look the other way. It’s time to wake up and fix this.
