Yet another reason to regulate not ban #Kratom @SecAzar. Kratom shows incredible potential as a much safer alternative to traditional opioids, especially in long term #CPP. Kratom has little risk of addiction and doesn't cause respiratory depression. Why ban it?

We are deeply concerned about #opioids and are closely paying attention to @POTUS Donald Trump’s initiatives. Our recent meeting at @WhiteHouse gives us hope that something is being done to address this critical problem.
It's important for patients and health professionals to engage in dialogue before prescribing and dispensing.

Get off the dime about narcotic medicines. The problem you’re after is illegal drugs. Give patients a break.
For those not impacted by life changing chronic pain, it's easy to have an uninformed opinion on pain medication
A misleading infographic: as if fentanyl isn't legal nor prescribed, & it is both. It can be used safely, as prescribed, comes in a patch & changed every few DAYS to keep meds slower release & thus doses lower over all, so pain is better controlled w/less chance of dosing error.
Reduced barriers to alternative care and no limits in physical therapy
