Do you support #DPC, and The Primary Care Enhancement Act [S. 1358]? People should be allowed to use HSA funds to pay for Direct Primary Care services/memberships.

Im sorry to inform you of how disappointed you will be when you see the competitive bid reimbursement rates for home medical equipment. If you expect quality outcomes from what CMS reimburses then you need to plan to have low expectations.

The key question as we shift to “value-based care” is who will define “value”?
@HHSgov@SecAzar Government? Payers? Physicians? Private consulting firms with connections? Patient / Consumers - YES!pic.twitter.com/ESDJmUR4Gz

FYI I'm not paying anyone for sickness. "Value-based care." The words conveys zero. A value stock is cheap relative to earnings or book value. A value doctor is one that charges less, but has better outcomes? That's silly. In any field, the best doctor/plumber makes a premium.

I'm not sure I understand all this "price transparency" talk either. Are you saying the consumer should know exactly what the provider's actual cost is? That's how I interpret your comments. So rather than Walmart listing their sale price, we see their actual cost and pay that?

One of your priorities is, "removing government burdens that impede this transformation". Do you understand Competitive bidding in the DME sector is an absolute government burden that impedes the "Quality" you speak of? Start w/ removing comp. bid. if you want to remove burdens.
