The previous administration’s major healthcare achievement, the Affordable Care Act, was an attempt to use more government regulation and intervention to improve American healthcare. As we all know, the results were disastrous, with skyrocketing costs and disappearing choices.

There is a better way to do healthcare. It involves sending power back to the American people—to states, to local communities, to your doctor, and to you, as American patients. It involves building on the successes we’ve seen when patients have choice.

Azar: In Norway we don’t fuss with choice of «plans» or insurance companies. We just go to the doctor & get treatment when needed. Single payer system. Cheapest for all. We live longer and better lives than Americans. You should travel more, Azar, & not listen to the lyin’ Trump.

Even with Medicaid and Medicare, you can choose your doctor. Stop using lies as a scare tactic. And most people on Medicaid or Medicare don't have any other choice. They can't get any other kind of insurance, That's why they don't leave.

We've heard these arguments before, and none of the statements you've just made are true without exception. Ask anyone who lives in a rural area how easy it is to change doctors.

«One of the best things about Am. healthcare is that we believe if you don’t like your plan, you don’t have to keep it» <= Azar this is BS. Stop pretending US health care is so good: All European nations have better AND cheaper health care that covers ALL. You should travel more.

Azar: A single payer system is not impossible. To quote Muhammed Ali: “Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it.» - Azar, you are one of these little men.

We have never implemented 'Healthcare for All' so we don't know what's BEST until we've tried what's best for many other nations

All civilized nations have a single payer system - except the US. To quote Churchill: The US always do the right thing. After having tried everything else. - Azar, US will end up with single payer system in the end. And you will have been a forgotten, little footnote in history.

What you write is BS, Azar. The Nordic countries - market economies - spend much less on health (and less on insurance health involvement) than US, and we live longer and better. Single payer systems cut out expensive bureaucracy. Better for all.
