The @FDA doesn't NEED to CREATE new drugs...of course they think they do, because how else will they make a profit?! There's already a non addictive treatment for chronic pain and it's called KRATOM! Will you please take this into consideration?

They create many “new” drugs by renaming old worn out drugs and relabel them for new treatments.

How many more people are you guys going to kill in your genocide of pain AND addiction sufferers who stay alive with access to RELIABLY POTENT, safely made medication? Stop demonizing. Stop focusing on one substance (it's ridiculous). Prohibition fails.https://twitter.com/DanLairdMD/status/1034669560492781568 …

One of my chronic pain patients had arthroscopic knee surgery last week. The Las Vegas orthopedic surgeon who did it refused pain medications afterwards. Of course the orthopod didn’t reveal the same until pt was in Recovery Room. That works once- no more referrals to you, Doc. pic.twitter.com/BcBDhxDXIb

@SecAzar, if the numbers of opioid analgesic prescriptions are decreasing, why did we just reach an all time high in the amount of deaths due to opioid overdoses throughout the country? I'd encourage you to engage with startups. We're answering these questions ourselves.

All they have to do is look at Florida data. Limiting reliably potent legal pain medication - which does not "get people addicted" (not how addiction works) - drives addiction sufferers to risk street drugs. Pain patients are killing themselves in record numbers. @FLSenate

Until there r viable options, it's imperative millions of Americans having a med necessity 4 pain meds, still receive Rx's. The ⬇️ in Rxing is NOT all good news. Example: 27% of #Cancer pts have been DENIED vital meds. It's absolutely horrific & causing #SuicideDueToPain .
