If you are serious about cutting the cost of drugs CUT OUT the middlemen! #PBM monopolizing the pharmacy industry has to stop. Stop ignoring the crux of the issue and put people before politics. #pbmafia #communitypharmacymatters

(2 of 2) ... it is also imperative to examine whether reimbursement rates for generics are sufficient in these govt programs to ensure sustainable competition and continued savings.pic.twitter.com/5meLagOdob

You don't need to examine anything. It is Econ 101. Eliminate PBMs and allow the government to negotiate prices. Pretending that there is any other effective way is disingenuous! (1 0f 2) In 2017 generics saved Medicare Part D $82 billion (and Medicaid $40.6 billion).
@SecAzar and@SeemaCMA leadership to examine how to further encourage use of generics in Part D plans is positive step, but...pic.twitter.com/pUPdpw6yan

Today would be a good day for you to release a report on how many children have been reunited with their parents. The longer they are separated, the greater the damage done.
-
@RepJayapal said they are still in cages. She saw this with her own eyes over the weekend. -
This is so disgusting. We cannot allow these children to slip through the cracks and be forgotten.

Appreciate
@SecAzar and@SeemaCMS's efforts here; ASPE report shows billions could be saved (https://aspe.hhs.gov/system/files/pdf/259326/DP-Multisource-Brands-in-Part-D.pdf …), while our work focused on PBM exclusion lists estimated more than $1B could be saved, millions in patient OOP spending https://ja.ma/2NHDYiO pic.twitter.com/HIqdh3IMMs

I wonder what they are doing with all these children they say can't be reunited. It can't be good, otherwise, they would be allowing the lawyers and the judge know.
-
Foster homes? For profit detention centers? We must keep this issue on the front burner!
-
I agree. People are making a ton of money off these kidnappings. I hope they have it tucked away, because they will need it for the cost of attorneys once their trials begin.

PBMs took over the roles of Part-D plans. PBMs are dangerously consolidating and monopolizing. PBMs have egregious conflicts of interest. Simple solution would be to dismantle PBM monopoly and reset them back to processors of Rxs. Conversation can then shift to Plan-D insurances.
