We're working the challenge step-by-step within the restraints placed on us by conflicting court orders and a fundamentally broken immigration system. But make no mistake, while the Administration calls on Congress to act to fix the problem, @HHSGov is executing on our mission.

You have imprisoned babies & children that the gov’t. stole from their parents. Yet I don’t hear any shame or apology in this tweet; just finger pointing & empty words about “executing” your “mission”. Reunite these families & make recompense. And hope for a merciful God.

I’m all for taking these child kidnappers to court and keeping them locked up until all the kids are reunited! What they did was a crime and they should be held accountable!

They should indeed be held accountable to the law. Our shared values as a nation & the rule of law have seen us through trials in the past & will serve us now. Unfortunately, the legal process takes time, & time is not on these children's side at the moment. Voices are needed.

Children should have never been separated from their biological parents in the first place. Infact no one, no government, no court has a good enough reason nor right to displace the children - taking them to one part of the country as this administration has done! Disgraceful!

So the government today in court was forced to confess that they do not have a plan nor know where all the children are or where their parents went? What a disaster!

No, Mr. Secretary. This is 💯 percent this administration’s fault. They put this policy in place without ANY plan to reunite these kids. This is completely on you and the administration to fix the crisis you’ve created.

HOW MANY CHILDREN ARE THERE?!?!? Under 3,000? This is not a place to estimate. These are children! Children who have been taken from their parents by the United States government! GET THESE KIDS BACK TO THEIR PARENTS!

Records linking children to their parents have disappeared, and in some cases have been destroyed, according to two officials of the Department of Homeland Security, leaving the authorities struggling to identify connections between family members. https://nyti.ms/2KO3Kkj

There’s no plausible reason for destroying these children’s records OTHER than to intentionally abet human trafficking. If that sounds unrealistic, remember: these people had no problem w kidnapping these children in the first place.

Correct, the #LiarInChief ordered the crisis and now has the gall to try and take credit when there’s a picture of reunited families on tv. Really brings the question “ have you no decency?” To a whole other level! We cannot let history repeat!!

This is ALL on you, Nielsen, Sessions, and Trump. The fact that you’re having to resort to DNA testing indicates that you had NO PLAN to reunify. The lack of logistics alone is sheer gross negligent incompetence. YOU decided to send these children all over the country.
