I know how old Millennials are -- Boomers remember 9-11 as well. I don't think it's a generation-defining moment like JFK for boomers though.

For older millennials, it is also 9-11.

I’m a younger millennial, and it’s still 9/11. I was in the 4th grade and everyone was crying. I didn’t really understand what was going on completely at the time, but I still remember it vividly.

Only the very youngest millennials don’t remember 9/11. Most were in grade school or high school. And the oldest were even in college.

What millennials don’t remember though? I was 10 and I remember where I was and the shift to coverage for the next few weeks. I lived on the other side of the country. I don’t know a single millennial who does not vividly remember the event and the shift it caused in society.
