People are celebrating the winnowing on the Democratic side a bit much. In states like NC and CA, a huge chunk of the ballots are already in. 1/

More importantly, this isn't that different than Rs in 2016. You've still got Bernie (Trump), Warren (Cruz) and Bloomberg (Kasich). Biden is sort of like Jeb. making it through instead of Rubio. Regardless, a four-way split is exactly what Rs had four years ago.

You seem really desperate now and almost invested in bernie winning. You keep grasping for straws for why biden can't win

Main difference though is the lack of winner take all.

Imperfect analogy, since at this point, Biden has the most overall votes & 2nd most delegates. Jeb was was mired in 4th & 5th place in national polls starting in Aug 2015. Biden was NEVER in the spot nationally.

It's a what-if Tulsi/Christie had taken out Rubio in August instead of February, allowing Jeb/Biden to consolidate the establishment without Harris/Rubio in the way.

I know that Trump is the Bernie analog for this analogy, but he's probably closer to Cruz in terms of his actual left/right counterpart. Ideologically extreme but supporting orthodox party beliefs. Doesn't play well with rest of party.

I've sorta toyed with the idea as Bernie being Ron Paul, which actually makes the Warren-as-Cruz analogy make more sense.
