I get what you mean. It’s REALLY frustrating when the law abiding are punished because of the actions of a criminal. 🤦‍♂️https://twitter.com/axios/status/977166034376458240 …

I think if you work in department stores they make the associates use clear pouches.

Actually, no. You store your stuff in lockers before going to the floor and have it checked on your way out... but cool try to talk about something you don’t know.

She was using something she knows nothing about to try to prove a point to disregard a child’s feeling. The clear backpack rule at a high school is going to make kids safer. The kid at the Florida high school wasn’t a student. The students want more. We as adults owe it to them

She simply stated something she heard was true, which some stores may actually do that way; her opinions were an inference by you. I agree that clear backpacks are probably not the best solution, but it’s not like they’re a new practice, & it wouldn’t hurt my feelings, elaborate

The article says that students are uncomfortable with the backpack. I can think of many reasons why that would be. As someone who spent years in retail it’s not a practice. It’s used at sporting events, which are optional to attend. Adults need to stop and just listen right now

Because a black and white generalization always solves complex issues. Lowest common denominator,...typical.

It’s even more frustrating when intelligent adults act like licensing requirements for the operation and purchase of lethal arms is a punishment. Not to mention infantile and idiotic

What other one of your rights do you need a license for? Should we require a license for the first amendment? Or how about the fifth? How does the state get a license for number 10?

Which is why it’s so hard for them to get guns now… Oh wait no it isn’t. The idea that you shouldn’t institute any regulation because someone might get around it is suicidally stupid. Unfortunately you’re not killing yourself just a lot of innocent kids.
