It’s easy to say “stay forever”. “Defend our allies”, when you’re not the one making the decision or drafting letters to families of the fallen.

And before people start saying but what about Iraq? What about Afghanistan? Just stop. Every tactical & strategic decision is different, & should be evaluated as such. One size fits all foreign policy is part of what got us into this quagmire in the first place.

Both parties own this. I don’t say what I say because I blindly defend Trump or I’m a conservative. I say what I say because I love America, and my loyalty is and will always be to what I believe is best for our great nation. This isn’t political.
