    Not only is being politically centrist the only reasonable option given the nuanced nature of political realities, but the only way to hold government accountable is if every individual is open to voting for the other side. On Election Day, the centre always holds the cards.

    At least to some degree. There are problems when we HAVE to trust people we distrust and bitcoin helps to address those problems. But the reality is there’s a future of monetary governance at the intersection of law and tech which will enable...

    One of the weirdest little flaws in tech is when autocorrect changes your word to something that is capitalized... then you delete and it still assumes you want a capital - like, I never pressed shift why would it think that?

    Worth noting that that's not what they were suspended for but rather doxing someone and telling people to go to their house not to mention a noticeably aggressive tone... Twitter has been pretty consistent about that type of thing. I don't think it should be a lifetime ban though

    Zerohedge was suspended from Twitter for suggesting that the coronavirus was man made. Jussie Smollett didn't even lose his blue check.

    3. They may spread fake or incorrect news, but watching the global response of scientists work together to debunk the Coronavirus-HIV story was incredible — more shared research. 4. Twitter should encourage block, mute, and timeline management rather than suspensions.

    I had to get a background check for my job, and it turns out the report is a 300+ page pdf of every single tweet I’ve ever liked with the work “fuck” in it. Enjoy your dystopian bs! *waves*

    ING is now the second bank in the Netherlands to charge a negative interest rate. Customers will face a -0.5% interest rate for any amount in an account above one million euros. Yet, Bitcoin is the "experiment" here?

    For the record, my best guess is that the appropriate ratio of tax to GDP is somewhere between the two - Canada has a little too much waste and the US has overt tax evasion on an unimaginable scale (Amazon) because their government and campaign finance system is plainly corrupt
