Twice the amount of unemployed people because the gov't doesn't count 96 million Americans without jobs as unemployed. And roughly 37 million of those are prime working age Americans.

After welfare reform in the 90's, they are either on disability, short term unemployment, or taking care of family members. Nobody is sitting around doing nothing and collecting aid. The GOP treats this as a perennial talking point, but it is a lie.
