    To proudly walk with my husband to be sworn in as a Minister of the Crown and it’s not even close to a big deal anymore is something I will never take for granted. What a time we live in. What a country. 🇨🇦

    He’s not one to brag, so I’ll just do it. I am so proud of my husband , Matt Swift and the whole Terre Restaurant team on being named Best Hotel Restaurant in Canada. Our culinary scene in this city is outstanding. So proud.

    Trees for Life do such great work. *I* got the chance to thank *them*! Seeing resident Canada AM gardening expert and dear friend Mark Cullen just made it all the sweeter.

    attended the ground breaking of the restoration of the Corel Kingdom building in Toronto. Good friend on hand and Mark had a chance to thank him for the federal government support of the new Trees for Life.

    So impressed by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Toronto Training Facility and the instructors and students there. These are good jobs that keep electricity flowing in our communities now, and we’ll need more of them as we keep electrifying 🇨🇦! ⚡️⚡️⚡️

    Trucking has kept this country’s economy chugging along for generations now, and the Canadian Truckers Alliance celebrates that history at their HQ. Great meeting with them on today’s post-COVID supply-chain challenges. Told them we’d tackle those challenges together.

    The Irish helped build Toronto and, indeed, Canada. Their story is a colourful one (like ourselves!) now to be told at the Corleck Building along the Toronto waterfront, thanks to the patronage and determination of Robert Kearns and the . Thrilled to be there.🇨🇦🇮🇪
