One of the things I really want an answer to regarding monetization is why do so many videos go yellow JUST after they’re switched to Public, even if they’ve been uploaded as Unlisted for some time and stayed in the green. #suspicious @TeamYouTube @YouTube @YTCreators

The automated scan looks at the title, description & tags before the video is live, please appeal. For future videos, upload as unlisted or private and request a review. You can publish once you get an email w/ the outcome of the review.

That’s exactly the problem. It’s monetized and stays monetized when it’s unlisted but within 30 minutes of making it public it goes Yellow. Happens pretty often actually. I have appealed, I know at this point that I need to check it OFTEN after making it public because of this.

It went from uploaded and approved for monetization as unlisted for TWO DAYS before I made it public. Demonetized/yellow in less than 30 minutes of making it public.

When the video is in unlisted please request a review, you'll want to wait for an email response before publishing the video. Once the status is confirmed by manual review, it won't change again.

I can’t request a review on an unlisted video that is still marked as monetized. It gets demonetized AFTER going public, no matter how long it’s been unlisted for. Also, I’ve definitely had videos go Yellow AFTER being confirmed by manual review and so have many others.

This exchange was ridiculous, are bots tweeting their replies for them, too? Or do the people working at YouTube have negative IQs?

Either bots or they are getting paid like $1/hr and hate their life and everyone around them
