The partners of the "Protect-Streams-4-Sea" project visited the Aquatir Sturgeon Complex in Tiraspol. The partners witnessed first hand how they grow sturgeon fish and produce natural black caviar from Russian sturgeon, beluga, sterlet and bester.

The 4th Network Meeting from the Protect-Streams-4-Sea program took place via Zoom on March 29th 2022. BIWA from Romania, YFU from Armenia and Eco-TIRAS from Moldova presented their results. The meeting had great success with more than 70 participants from all five countries.

The 3d Neighborhood Network Meeting was successfully implemented on the 26th of January and informed the stakeholders on the progress of the Black Sea project with the acronym “Protect-Streams-4-Sea”. Armenia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Turkey are the participant countries.

AWARENESS EVENT: GERi Lab showcased to more than 60 university students the methods used in the BSB963 “Protect-Streams-4-Sea” project. Specifically, the use of the streamflow meter, erosion pins, runoff plots, soil sampling & submarine drones to estimate pollution in streams.
